Latonya Black Gilliard, a North Carolina native, Latonya has been performing since the age of 10, when she discovered she had a singing voice good enough for the church choir. After graduating from high school, she attended Howard University as an Architectural Design major. She joined a band as lead female vocalist and embarked on an east coast tour. During this time, she also became a member of the North Carolina Black Repertory Company, performing in many plays and was one of the first members participating in the new National Black Theatre Festival.
Moving to California, she became passionate about writing, producing and created the Revelation Repertory Company. She has expanded into acting, filming television projects and a few feature films.
Always projecting her authentic self, she is constantly sought out for her advice and support, mostly by women. Her book, WHAT YOUR MOMMA NEVER KNEW ABOUT MEN; A Guide to Creating Real-ationships, is a clever, common sense guide that helps women master their feminine power.
She is the owner of Limitless Life Coaching and Mentoring. Now, being partnered with the love of her life, Carl Gilliard, she is the COO and Vice President of Gilliard Media Group, producers, casting directors and providers of entertainment media and content.
